Sarah a 31 ans, elle est Française, Marocaine, musulmane, arabe, méditerranéenne et elle aime les sushis. Justine se présente comme Française, athée, même si ce n’est pas forcément comme ça qu’elle se définit habituellement, blanche et est originaire du Nord de la France. Toutes les deux sont réalisatrices du Women Sense Tour et co-fondatrices de l’association @assolallab
Women Sense Tour, c’est une série documentaire visant à rencontrer, soutenir et (re)valoriser l’image des femmes musulmanes actrices de changement en faveur de l’autonomisation des femmes et des filles.
“C’est pendant cette année-là d’étude que j’ai monté le projet Women Sense Tour. J’avais besoin de personnes qui m’accompagnent. Je ne savais pas que ce oui à l’époque changerait ma vie, nos vies. Depuis, on a tout monté ensemble.” Sarah
“Voyager ensemble avant d’être amies, c’était l’épreuve du feu. On travaillait constamment, on ne dormait pas, on produisait beaucoup. Une fois passée cette étape, on n’avait plus aucun doute sur notre capacité à travailler ensemble On sait comment on se coordonne et comment on se complète. Et on se fait totalement confiance.” Justine
Deux visages, deux convictions et une lutte commune : le féminisme. Ensemble, elles ont fondé l’association Lallab, association féministe et antiraciste dont le but est de faire entendre les voix et de défendre les droits des femmes musulmanes qui sont au coeur d’oppressions sexistes, racistes et islamophobes.
“C’est parce que je suis musulmane que je suis féministe.” affirme Sarah avec force. L’athéisme de Justine s’accompagne d’une profonde croyance dans la capacité collective de la société à demander et obtenir la justice sociale.
